I started my business on the 1st of July 2013.

What does your business do?
Book keeping and accountancy services - from completing VAT returns to calculating HMRC and pension provider payments. Advising you on which suppliers you need to pay and which customers need to pay you!

What made you choose this type of business?
I started bookkeeping when I was 18, I worked my way up through different industries and became an internal accountant, and then took the leap in 2013.

What are your responsibilities as the business owner?
EVERYTHING!! From the way the staff represent the company to the standard of work that leaves the office.

Have you attended any courses/seminars/groups that you would recommend to our community?
Yes, but they are boring (as you can imagine, so I won’t share those!) but I belong to a networking group in Northampton which meet weekly and is one of my favourite mornings, BNI Lighthouse! I also attend another Wednesday networking group; LibAbun-BEN. Just great groups of people!
