Interchange House Newport PagnellA multi-million pound plan to create thousands of new jobs in Newport Pagnell by transforming a former food factory into high-tech, state-of-the art offices and industrial units has taken a significant step forward.

Milton Keynes Council has granted planning permission for the construction of a new access road off Howard Way to serve Interchange Business Centre, a 3.5-acre development that will be home to between 70 and 100 small and medium-sized firms.

Work is already well underway on the site and Bucks-Biz, the company behind the project, has already received a lot of interest from prospective clients.

Explained Managing Director, Joe Muscat: “Even before completion of Interchange Business Centre we have a number of businesses planning to move in with the first expected to be up and running early in the New Year.

“They have been attracted by the convenient location, excellent facilities, first rate security systems and the flexibility of our rolling monthly license agreements. We have also been offering an ‘early-bird’ discount for our first clients.”

Joe went on to say the new road will further enhance the new business centre, improving access and creating a more attractive approach to the prestigious development.

“The road is of a block-paving design and will help to create a more pleasant working environment for both clients and their visitors,” he added.

The new bespoke business centre will offer a wide range of business accommodation, from small offices and workshops to much larger bespoke units suitable for warehousing, distribution and more. All will be managed by Bucks-Biz which also includes the popular MK:ONE and MK:TWO Business Centres in its extensive commercial property portfolio.
