Bucks Biz Business CentresA popular business centre in Buckinghamshire looks set to play a leading role in the future of UK television and film industry.

MK:TWO in Bletchley, Milton Keynes, is already home to a number of businesses that produce corporate videos and programmes for satellite TV, including The Psychic Channel. Now it is planning to expand the number of business units available to media firms looking for a well-equipped base to produce fresh TV content.

Explained Joe Muscat, Chief Executive of Bucks-Biz, the company behind MK:TWO, explained: “We already have several units on the site converted into TV studios, making it easy for media companies to move in and start making programmes almost straight away.

“We can also adapt other units to meet individual requirements and all businesses have access to high speed broadband as well as other essential IT services.”

Joe went on to say that he hoped to develop MK:TWO into a centre of excellence for the creative industries, with filmmakers working alongside music producers and other media specialists.

“Because of high prices in London, a lot of smaller media firms are being forced to look outside the capital for a production base, and we believe Milton Keynes provides the ideal location,” continued Joe. “It is within 30 miles of central London, has easy access to the motorway network, and thanks to the facilities at MK:TWO it has everything a talented media company needs.

“We also offer flexible, easy-in, easy out contracts to clients and will do all we can to help new companies get off the ground,” he added.
