Bucks Biz Blue Week - Funds Raised for Willen Hospice

Bucks Biz Business Centres were visited by Willen Hospice this week as part of their 'Blue Week' for fundraising.

Bucks Biz were able to raise funds for Willen Hospice as the charity sold cookies at our iCentre in Newport Pagnell.

The charity provides specialist end-of-life care for adults, focusing on four key areas: specialist symptom control, emotional support, spiritual support and care for carers.

Willen Hospice work closely with GP's, hospitals, community nursing staff and social workers and strive to make sure that their specialist care is practical, informed and supportive at all levels.

The Blue Week includes many blue themed activities going on around Milton Keynes; members of the MK community have participated in cookie baking events and cookie sales, plus, special shopping events at the charity's shops.

Blue Week is a great way for the charity to help achieve its target of raising £7 every minute of the year and Bucks Biz are very happy to help out.
