Meet The Neighbours: Naomi Johnson From NJ Barbering

She has spent 8-years barbering. She worked for a year as a hairdresser and because she enjoyed cutting her own dad's hair, she become proficient at barbering too, so it was a natural move for her to do it full-time.

Naomi studied at college for a year and passed her course with flying colours enabling her to move straight into employment at a salon where she got further training and learned her trade. She eventually moved to a barber in Woburn Sands to concentrate on barbering, but sadly, went the pandemic hit, she was let go due to the business suspending trading.

We're very pleased that Naomi was able to secure employment again with another one of our other clients when they reopened after the economy opened up following the lockdowns. She rented a chair from them and start booking her own clients, quickly filling her client list up as her reputation grew.

In July, she was fully booked up and needed somewhere bigger so was able to move into her own unit at the Bucks Business Centre in July of this year. She now has many regular people coming to her barbers and wants to expand her client base to include people from the local area who are not necessary clients of Bucks Biz.

Naomi is always looking for ways to improve her service to her clients and is releasing a number of hair care products in time for Christmas. This includes hair clay and shaving balms and we can assure you that the men in our team are already booked in so they can look their best for the festive season.
