FIRE RELATED
This building has extremely high fire protection. Look up and you will see a smoke head, every smoke head equals a 1 hour compartment - meaning should a fire occur shut the doors and the fire will be contained for 1 hour. Should you activate your smoke head (with smoke however so generated) the fire alarm will sound and the whole building will be evacuated. For this reason smoking and vaping is not permitted anywhere within the building and will incur a £100 fine to anyone responsible for a false activation.

Fire alarm: We regularly test the fire alarm system (see FaceBook Group for days and times). Should you hear the fire alarm sound for more than 10 seconds you must evacuate the building immediately. It is not the responsibility of Bucks Biz or any of their staff to evacuate you from the building.

Fire exits: If you look outside of your unit now you will see a fire exit sign, follow these signs to your nearest exit. Fire doors are clearly labelled and should never be propped/left open. 

Fire suppression system: This building has no fire suppression system.

Fire extinguishers: Fire extinguishers are located within every corridor clearly marked CO2 and Water. Please do not use unless in emergencies. Should you require extinguishers within your unit this is your responsibility.

Fire policies: Every client is responsible for their own fire policies and procedures. Bucks Biz will maintain the fire system which consists of smoke head detection to an addressable fire alarm panel with managed response within the hours of Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. Outside of these hours the managed panel is monitored by Dual Comm GPRS which will dial Central Monitoring Station and response from Tickford Security.

Assembly point: Your assembly point is determined by your own fire policy, however we suggest you make your fire assembly point the furthest point at the front of the building.

What to do If you see a fire: Immediately exit the building calling 999 and press the nearest break glass to activate the fire alarm on your way out.

 

HEALTH & SAFETY RELATED
Bucks Biz manage all common areas only of our building(s) to ensure to the best of our abilities the safest environment possible. 

Asbestos: Bucks Biz hold asbestos surveys on the building which are available on request.

Legionella: Bucks Biz hold legionella tests/reports which are available on request to the common areas only. Any water within a clients unit will be their responsibility.

Risk assessments and first aid: Individual risk assessments and first aid are the clients responsibility.

Emergency Lighting: It is the clients responsibility to periodically test their emergency lighting (assistance can be provide upon request).

 

CLEANING AND WASTE
Bucks Biz will clean the common areas only. Bins located throughout the site that are emptied weekly and for general office waste only. Any non office waste (pallets, rubble, etc) will not be collected and could result in fines.

 

PARKING
To park within all Bucks Biz sites you must display a valid parking permit (where applicable). Visitor parking is free 2 hour no return. Any visitor staying beyond 2 hours must sign in at reception on the tablet provided. Overnight parking is not permitted unless otherwise agreed.
